If an average-sized airline (70 aircraft, $1 billion annual fuel costs) implemented Fuel & Carbon Solutions to achieve 2 percent improvement in fuel consumption, their annual fuel expenditure would decrease by $20 million and reduce 60 metric tons of CO2 emissions - which is equivalent to removing more than 10,000 passenger vehicles from the road or planting more than 1.3 million trees.
