The main TRAINing data file has many sub folders based on dates (OK) Each one of these, has two sub-folders entitled ASDI and FlightHistory... ok so far Each FlightHistory folder has two files (both claiming to be CSVs) One is OK (FlightHistoryEvents) But, every file (called FlightHistory.csv) contains only binary data I just purchased winzip 6 months ago and it appears up to date. Is it just me? (windows 7 machine, winzip) thanks in advance... ! |

same with me, flighthistory.csv contains binary data. it turned out to be a zip file renamed in csv. Rename it into flighthistory.zip, and you should be able to unzip it. |

Hi everyone, working on regenerating the training set to remove the compressed flighthistory.csv files, which is annoying I know. Aiming to get it up later today. Sorry for the delay! Thanks for your patience. I'll post to the forums when it's ready so that you will all know. |

Hi Joycenv - We are able to extract flighthistory.csv by renaming to flighthistory.zip and unzipping, however the resulting flighthistory.csv file only contains 26 columns. According to FlightStatsDataDictionary.xlsx, flighthistory.csv should have 49 columns. Is FlightStatsDataDictionary.xlsx incorrect? |

Updated files are now on the Data page, denoted in the filename with '_rev1' FlightHistory/flighthistory.csv is now no longer compressed, but regular text csv. |
